Remotely lead, support and coordinate mission-critical TVECS application system architecture & infrastructure sustainment activities to ensure operability at eight North American Manufacturing Centers (NAMCS).

Responsibilities
Testing and deployment of application quarterly version upgrades as provided by software vendor.
Performing quarterly server patching validation activities
Troubleshooting/application support for planned and emergent events
Ensuring IT compliance (cyber security, access control, obsolete)
Support TVECS and connected-system changepoint activity
Requisitos
Working knowledge of MS Windows operating environment (server 2016+, Windows 10+)
Understanding of information technology networking, architecture, security, account management, policy and webpage design.
Experience with PLC I/O and data networks such as Allen Bradley, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, FLNET
Ability to work cross functionally with local (North America) and overseas (Japan) manufacturing engineering teams and IT groups (network, firewall, security, account management)
Ability to work weekends to support application management activities
Position related experience in Engineering/Software Engineering – 3+ years
Project management experience in building plan, procurement service, scope control, and progress monitor– 2+ years
Knowledge of MS Windows operating environments (Server 2016+, Office) and SQL database
Experience with PLC IO and Data networks (ControlNet, Device Net, Ethernet/IP, FLNET), and webpage design
Strong interpersonal skills, works well with team environment, and can build consensus.
Verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain with multiple levels within the organization
Strong organizational skill and ability to self-manage
Ability to visualize problems & solutions, work activity and project plans
Education
Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Travel
What percentage or how often? 30% (Mostly within USA).
Where will they need to travel? NAMC
If International, to/from which countries? Japan (unlikely)
Will it be for meetings/observation? Or will it be for hands on work? Meetings/observation (for Japan)
How soon after the offer will they be required to travel? At most, 1-wk on site.
No travel would be scheduled more than 3 months.

Team consists of 6 members.
Main focus: An application called TVECS, used this to verify the vehicle’s electronic systems for quality purposes.
Software writing, testing of equipment’s, traceability.
Supporting the validation activities.
PC Formatting, Networking restructuring, Window Servers, PC’s, etc
Troubleshooting on the applications to find a solution.
Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Background
Applications also interfaces with process improvements.
Some background with PLC knowledge.
Interview: 2 rounds. 1st round 30 minutes and the 2nd round 60 minutes.
Ideally 4 days a week onsite and 1 day work from home (Fexible if required)
Overtime: Whenever needed, but not regularly.
